Join us for Snacks with Santa on Thursday, December 14th with 2 separate sessions: 11am-1pm OR 6-8pm. We will have crafts, snacks and photos with Santa. We will stagger the arrival times for the evening session. Registration is required.

Holiday Concert

Join us for a Holiday Concert on Tuesday, December 19th at 6pm with performances by the Woodbridge High School’s Select Ensemble and Bell Choir. It is FREE and open to the public. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Bridgeville Library.

Children's Programs

Join Ms. Hilary for Story Time in December with songs, stories, and rhymes about Christmas and Winter. On Tuesdays, Story Time is geared for ages 3-5 and on Wednesdays for birth-2, both sessions at 10am. The first Tuesday of every month, Story Book Corner is held at the Seaford Chick-Fil-A @ 10am (December 5th). Join us with Ms. Hilary for songs, stories, and rhymes about Christmas followed by brunch on Saturday, December 16th at 10am.

Adult Programs

Adult Craft Night will be held on Tuesday, December 5th at 6pm. We will have a variety of craft materials available for you to make a holiday craft. Registration is required. Join us on Saturday, December 9th from 11am-1pm for a culinary and literary adventure. We will be discussing the book "The Diamond Eye" by Kate Quinn and enjoying a variety of Russian Cuisine. Please bring your favorite holiday dessert to share with the group. We have a few copies of the book and it is also available on the Hoopla app. Registration is required.

Tween/Teen Programs

Join us for a paper crafting session on Thursday, December 7th. Choose which one: 11am-1pm or 3:30-5:30pm. You will make holiday crafts with Ms. Hilary and Mrs. Alice using paper quilling and scrapbooking techniques. Registration is required. ---Both sessions of Soldering are FULL---In collaboration with our Tech Volunteer Keith Lohmeyer, Teens and Tweens (ages 10-17), join us to learn about circuit boards and how to solder. We have 2 sessions to choose from: Tuesday, December 12th at 2pm or 4:30pm. You will make a custom tree shaped PCB with buzzer Christmas music and blinking LEDs. Registration is required. This session is geared for teens and tweens. Join us for a Christmas teen/tween party with Ms. Hilary for Christmas fun! You will decorate wood ornaments, layer ingredients in a jar for cookies, play games, and sing karaoke. Registration is required.

Friends of the Bridgeville Library

Join the Friends of the Bridgeville Library to make a difference in your community. Our friends group helps with programming, fundraising, volunteering, and more! The next meeting is Monday, January 8th at 10:30am at the Bridgeville Library. We would love to see you there!
