The Town of Bridgeville is having a Town-Wide Yard Sale on Saturday, September 28th starting at 7am throughout the town. If you would like to join us at the Bridgeville Library in the parking lot with a yard sale spot or vendor spot, please see the details on the flyer.

Library Carnival @ Apple Scrapple Festival

On Thursday, October 10th, support the library by enjoying the rides at the Hometown Carnival Night from 4-9pm and purchase a pay-one-price bracelet for $25. This is the only event in Bridgeville on Thursday. The Apple Scrapple Festival will start on Friday with food, entertainment, and Little Miss Apple Scrapple Pageant. Friday’s carnival will be open from 4-10pm with a pay-one-price bracelet for $25 and tickets also available. On Saturday, the festival will continue with the addition of vendors throughout the town beginning at 9am. The carnival will be open at 10:30am and close at 10pm. You may purchase one ticket for $2, a family pack for $30 (20 tickets) or $40 (40 tickets). More information about the festival can be found at applescrapple.com.

Harvest Moon Market Vendor Event

Mark Your Calendars!! We will have our annual vendor event on Saturday, November 16th from 9am until 2pm. Introducing the "Crisp and Cozy Cafe", vendors, raffles, and games. Children's Programs

Bring your child to the library on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month @11am to read to the L.E.A.P. dogs. The goal of the Literacy Education Assistance Pups is to improve the literacy skills of children and grow their enthusiasm for reading. Join Ms. Hilary for stories, songs, and rhymes about apples in September. Story Book Corner for all ages will be held at the Seaford Chick-Fil-A on the first Tuesday of every month @ 10am. On the other Tuesdays, it will be at the library at 10am and is geared for ages 3-5. On Wednesdays, there is a new time- it will be held at 9am and is geared for birth-2 year olds. Ms. Hilary would love to share with you! Join us with Ms. Hilary for stories, songs, and rhymes about apples followed by brunch on Saturday, September 21st at 10am!

Adult Programs

Join us on Wednesdays @ 9:30am through the months of September and October for Chair Fitness Class with Bree Rudy, ISSA Group Exercise Instructor. She will conduct a 50 minute class for adults only. Bring your own light weights, if desired. All levels of expertise are welcome. Wear comfortable clothes and sturdy sneakers. Bring water and a smile! FREE and open to the public. Join us on Saturday, October 26th from 11am-1pm as we discuss the book selection “Chasing the Boogeyman” by Richard Chizmar and also enjoy a variety of Chesapeake-inspired cuisine. The book is available on Libby. Registration is required. Join us for a Boba Tea Tasting Party for Emerging Adults (ages 18-35) on Saturday, September 28th from 11am-1pm. We will have milk tea and fruity tea flavors for you to try and enjoy. Meet new friends and relax! Bring your latest/favorite book or hobby to share with the group. Registration is required. Join us on Tuesday, October 1st from 6-8 pm for Adult Craft Night and make autumn-inspired wooden crafts! We will supply you with 2-tiered (tall and short) pieces of 2x4 wood to paint and decorate 2 of your own designs, such as a crow, pumpkin, or scarecrow. You can mix and match! Registration is required.

Join us for an informal Coffee Klatch presentation "Healthy Aging Initiatives" by PACE Your Life from the Milford Wellness Village on Thursday, September 26th from 10-11am. This will be an informal coffee chat and an opportunity for you to ask local senior service experts your questions. Guest expert Allison Hendrickson from the State of Delaware Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities will present. Registration is required for the Coffee Klatch.
