Summer Reading Program

The Bridgeville Library's Summer Reading Program runs June 1st through August 14th! Join us as we explore new animal habitats: farm, forest, jungle, and ocean every other week with story times and special programs. Register on Beanstack to log your hours and receive chances for great prizes from Sussex County Libraries. Read books and play the Bridgeville Library's bingo for local prizes too! Author Jesse Marsch

The Bridgeville Library is partnering with the "A" Team and presenting local author Jesse Marsch on Friday, July 30th from 6-8 pm. You can meet the author, and purchase his book, of which he will sign. Master Marsch hopes to spark inspiration for writing as he tells of his struggles with Aspergers and how he used writing to get through them.

Luau Party

The library will have an "End of the Summer Reading Program Luau Party" on Saturday, August 14th at 10am. We will be drawing for prizes from your successful reading in the program. Light refreshments will be served!

Gentle Yoga

We are offering in-person Gentle Yoga classes with instructor Bonnie Russell (Ananda Yoga) on Thursdays, starting July 8th through August 26th at 8 am. She will uplift your mind, body and spirit with these classes for all ages and levels. These are open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis and will be limited to 20 participants. Please bring your own mat. Donations are appreciated!

Pilates

The Bridgeville Library is offering a new Pilates class with Instructor Bree on specific Saturdays from 9:15-10am. In this 45 minute class, you will tone your glutes, abdomen, arms, and legs. Breathing correctly and flow movements will be introduced, along with balance exercises.

Soldering Workshop

Keith Lohmeyer will lead a workshop teaching soldering skills. You will be making a mini version of the Simon memory game that hangs from a lanyard. In this workshop, you will learn soldering skills and use those skills to solder parts on a circuit board to make the game. No experience needed. This workshop is for ages 12 and up. (Ages 9 and up with an adult helper). The workshop will take 2 1/2 hours. Registration is required. Click on MORE INFO.

FREE Gaming with Small Town Gaming

The Bridgeville Library along with Small Town Gaming is hosting a FREE Library Gaming Play Day on Saturday, August 28th from 10 am to 1:45 pm. Come and play games with your friends.
