Caterpillar Clubhouse

Bring your Luv Bug to the Bridgeville Public Library on Wednesday mornings at 10:00am to participate in our early literacy lapsit program. The Caterpillar Clubhouse is a cradle to crayons program for your child age 3 months to 3 years.

Sussex County 4-H Tech Club

The Sussex County 4-H Tech Club meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 5-6:30pm. Mr. Keith hosts the meeting at the Bridgeville Public Library. This is open to all current AND non-4H’ers grades 4-12. Learn how 3D printers work and how to use 3D CAD software to design objects that you can 3D print. Learn the basics of computer coding and we will learn to make computer games and other useful programs. Learn about electricity and electronics. We will make soldering and other projects.

Basic Computer and Tech Assistance

Join us at the Bridgeville Library on the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 5-7pm, and every Friday from 3-5pm. We will offer assistance with your portable (laptops, e-readers, tablets, etc.) technology. Our friendly library staff and our tech volunteer Jim will assist you with your questions and issues. Basic computer skill tutorials are available on a limited basis. To schedule a tutorial, call the library at 302-337-7401 ext. 101. Build, Construct, Create - Ages 1-10 years

Beginning in September, join us on Thursdays for a fun learning experience for builders, ages 1-10 years old. We will host three age groups at separate times throughout the day. Participants will enjoy creating on our two Lego Duplo activity centers. Caregivers must supervise their builders. 10-10:45am for ages 1-3 years 11-11:45am for ages 4-6 years 5-5:45pm for ages 7-10 years

We invite the teens and tweens to join us at the Bridgeville Library on the last Tuesday of each month from 3-5pm for a movie and light snack. All movies will be rated PG-13 or lower.
