Community Bridge to Wellness
In 2025, join the Bridgeville Library for our wellness journey. All year, we will be promoting mental and physical health by providing chair fitness classes, yoga sessions, and trail walking sessions. You will choose your own 3 fitness goals, and use a journal to keep track of your journey. All programs are FREE to anyone and all are welcome! Chair Fitness Classes are starting on February 10th. The program kick-off date is Saturday, March 8th. We are still in the planning stages. More info to follow.

Children's Programs
Bring your child to the library on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month @11am to read to the L.E.A.P. dogs. The goal of the Literacy Education Assistance Pups is to improve the literacy skills of children and grow their enthusiasm for reading. Join Ms. Hilary for stories, songs, and rhymes about Love and Friendship in February. Story Book Corner is held on Tuesdays at the library at 10am and is geared for ages 3-5. On Wednesdays, it is at 9am and is geared for birth-2 years old. Tuesday, February 4th, Story Book Corner will be held at Seaford Chick-Fil-A @ 10am. The Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation (DASEF) will have an exciting program with fun demonstrations to help you understand Newton’s Law of Inertia at the library on Thursday, February 6th at 11am. Registration is required. Join Ms. Hilary on Saturday, February 8th @ 10am for stories, songs, and rhymes about Love and Friendship for all ages followed by a fun brunch!

Family Programs
Join us for a family-friendly Valentine's Tea Party on Saturday, February 15th from 11am-1pm, where your family can come together to celebrate the season of love. Enjoy tea, crafts, and delicious snacks, all while making wonderful memories with your loved ones. Registration is required. Join us for a Black History and Culture night on Thursday, February 20th from 6-8pm with your family. For the first celebration of the weekend, we will have crafts, snacks, and fun activities. Registration is required for this event. Join us in our partnership with Cornerstone Community Center for a Black History Cultural Celebration at the library on Friday, February 21st from 6-8pm. There will be music, food, and vendors. This event is FREE and open to the public. Join Small Town Gaming for a FREE Play Day on Saturday, February 22nd from 10am-2pm. Enjoy playing video games and meeting new friends. A free lunch is provided.

Adult Programs
Join us on Saturday, February 8th from 11am-1pm as we discuss the book selection “Snow Flower and the Secret Fan” by Lisa See, and enjoy a variety of Chinese inspired cuisine. Registration is required. Join us on Tuesday, February 4th to make a reversable indoor craft for Valentine/St. Patrick’s similar to pics shown using stencils, paint, and/or decoupage. Choose either wood blocks or wood sign when signing up. Registration is required: Call 302-337-7401 ext. 101 or signup online: delawarelibraries.libcal.com. Tween/Teen Programs
Join our team for “STEAM Team Showcase” on Wednesday, February 12th at 1:30pm or 3pm. Ages 10-17 and engage in science-driven activities that are fun and educational. In February, you will be creating 3D designs with Tinkercad. Bring your friends! We prefer registration to ensure we have enough materials. Do you love discussing your favorite Anime and Manga series, and discovering new ones? Then our Anime & Manga Club is the place for you! Join Ms. Hilary at the library on Thursday, February 27th from 4pm-5pm. You will watch anime together, vote on what to watch next, dive into the stories, discuss characters, plot twists, and everything in between. ALL ANIME WILL BE RATED FOR AGES 14 AND UNDER. Join us (ages 8-14) with Ms. Miranda at the library on Thursday, February 20th from 3:30-4:30pm. We will be discussing the book "Holes" by Louis Sachar in this fun and interactive Book Club. Several copies of the book are reserved at the library and it is also available as an ebook or audio book on the Libby App. Registration is requested.
